Abzakovo located on the eastern slopes of one of the South Urals ridges - Krykty-Tau, in the vicinity of the mountain Shaitan (820 m) in 60 km from Magnitogorsk, and 3 km from the station Novo-Abzakovo. This resort has long been a favorite recreation area for residents of Magnitogorsk, but in recent years its popularity has reached the level of all the Russia - primarily due to built here a modern ski complex.
Ski center “Metallurg-Magnitogorsk” - young resort, situated on the eastern slopes of the mountain Yaman-Kai (943 m) in the Lake Bath, 40 km from Magnitogorsk, and 25 km from Abzakovo. He has a good potential to become a ski resort at the highest level. It is not only the skiing that attracts people here but the apres ski. These resorts attract not only lovers of active winter recreation, but also professional athletes. Every year there are training and rehabilitation charges commands Russia’s ski racing and biathlon, Alpine skiing, stages held the Cup of Russia, as well as numerous sports events and festivals.
Trails: Over 18 km of pistes for all categories, including 4 FIS slopes for slalom and giant slalom (of which 6.5 km with artificial snow).
